Zoom for online and hybrid meetings
- Each meeting has a unique meeting number and passcode.
- People can log in 15 minute before the meeting officially begins. This provides time for the meeting leader to get ready.
- For security reasons, the Heart of Texas OA Intergroup Zoom meetings require members to sign into zoom.us. You may create a Zoom account without cost for this purpose, or you can login using your Google, Apple, Microsoft or Facebook account.
- We can also provide a Zoom meeting for special events such as online recovery workshops.
- We encourage that one or more regulars have knowledge about how to tech host the meeting and have access to the host key. Contact [email protected] for more information.
Online Meeting Calendar
There is a Google Calendar maintained by The Heart of Texas OA Intergroup which contains the meeting schedule and information, along with location, contact information and for hybrid / virtual meetings, a link to the Zoom meeting URL.

Virtual Meeting Binders
A virtual meeting binder is a Google Drive folder for a group to store documents, such as the meeting format, group conscious records, and other useful items.
Virtual Meeting Binders are available to any Heart of Texas Intergroup affiliated OA groups.
The link to a groups' virtual binder is added to their entry in the Online Meeting Calendar.

The Heart of Texas OA Intergroup provides literature to individual persons and meetings. Our Literature chair purchases materials from OA World Service (sometimes at a bulk discount) and sells them to anyone or any group that needs OA literature.
